I don't recommend it I'm curious if the freeze-over issue is bad enough to warrant the extra work setting up some sort of control system or not. I would have to shut off the compressor every so often when it froze up. PITA. You can retrofit a thermo control amp out of a Nissan frontier for cheap...I'll have to dig up the part number...
